The Path to the Craft

Most of us didn’t begin our careers as chocolate makers. We found our way here from different worlds like engineering, brewing, and beyond. This diversity of background is our greatest strength. While other industries have long embraced collaboration, the chocolate industry has often remained stagnant. We’re changing that.

Our goal is to foster a cohesive community that establishes Colorado as a premier destination for craft chocolate, much like the craft beer boom did for our state’s breweries. By sharing the unique skills we’ve acquired, whether from professional technical backgrounds or personal passions like gardening and beekeeping, we can push the craft forward together.

Beyond the bar, we use our collective platform to champion sustainable and ethical chocolate. By working closely with producers, we ensure both the highest quality of cacao and the fair treatment of those who grow it. We bridge the gap between large and small makers, helping them connect with direct-trade partners to ensure consistent, ethical livelihoods for farmers worldwide.
